The Whispering Trees Manor is a Special Events venue that’s located in western Pennsylvania just south of Erie on 63 acres of rolling and forested hills. We’re less than 2 hours from the major cities of Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo just minutes from Interstate 79.
History Influencing the Future
The Whispering Trees property was part of a large pioneer homestead established in the mid 1800’s on farmland that was used for agriculture and cattle. It retains much of its original farmland appearance with hundreds of vintage apple trees scattered throughout the property. Most recently, it was the site of a Bed & Breakfast Inn before being purchased in 2014 by its current owner, who transformed all the charm and traditions into a special events venue to share.
Our venue sits on land surrounded by an old growth hardwood forest with oak, cherry, sugar maple, hickory and ash trees throughout the property. The property is home to deer, wild turkey and many species of small animal and birds. We have a creek that winds thru the venue and an old covered bridge that serves as the centerpiece of the wedding ceremony area.
Planned Perfection
Our events venue was designed to incorporate the natural beauty of the area with artistically designed structures to create a unique place for weddings, family and corporate outings and other special events. This is a beautiful site located in a quiet rural area near the Borough of Edinboro. Our venue sits on the edge of a large meadow with the ceremony and reception area lying inside the forest well hidden from view.
Our ceremonies can be held at 2 different locations: the Rustic Creekside and our new Victorian Garden. We have a large 40X60 ft. pavilion that serves as a reception and celebration area. We have two designated bar areas and socializing areas all over the property. There is a fire pit for those evening gatherings in the late summer and fall events. Wonderful photo opportunities abound in every spot on the grounds.
This is a secluded and private setting that allows a group to enjoy a special occasion away from the noise and distractions of traffic or urban sounds. Our talented and creative staff has worked hard in developing a lovely fusion of nature and rustic elegance that will help to make your special event unique and memorable.
