What does the venue cost?

The rate is based upon the event being held and the number of guests. We can discuss the specific fee when you contact us with the details of your event

Are Tours available?

Yes. We can arrange a time for you to visit and tour the facilities. Just contact us and we’ll schedule a convenient date.

Do you provide the catering?

No. We are not licensed for food preparation and can offer you the names of many excellent companies that can provide your catering requirements.

What happens when it rains?

Our 40X60 pavilion can be utilized for the ceremony in case of inclement weather. We arrange an area using a rustic trellis that serves as the ceremony area.

What’s included in the venue fee?

  • The fee includes the full use of over 4 private acres of meadows and woodlands. Our 40X60 pavilion, covered bridge, ceremony area, bar area, fire pit, and parking area are all part of The Whispering Trees service.

  • Our Carriage house has a bridal changing room and a Grooms Room as well.

  • Two additional bedrooms are available to the bridal party for changing and preparing for the ceremony.

  • Our prep kitchen is available to your caterers for the final preparation of the meal. The kitchen includes a commercial sized refrigerator and warming oven as well as plenty of stainless steel workspace available.

  • You’re also provided a 2-hour rehearsal period on the Friday before your wedding

Do you have overnight accommodations?

Yes, The Whispering Trees Manor has 2 spacious bedrooms available for rent.  In addition, there is a Comfort Suites Hotel  just 2 miles from our location. Just 20 miles away in Erie there are numerous national chain hotels available.

Are there facilities for the elderly and disabled?

Our restrooms are ADA certified and we have electric carts available to help those who need assistance to and from the parking area as well as the restrooms.

What are the hours that your venue is available for the wedding?

The facility is available from the morning of the wedding until 10:30PM. Music must cease at 9:30PM and the grounds must be clear of guests by 10:30PM

Do you have tables and chairs available?

We have both banquet and round tables for rental. The rental fee includes both the tables and chairs needed all for one fee.

Is alcohol permitted?

Yes. We require licensed bartenders be hired to manage the bar and serve drinks. We will provide with the names of certified Bartender Services that we have used before.

What about caterers, bartenders, DJs, florist etc.

We provide you with the venue. The choice of who provides the other services is up to you. We will offer suggestions and make recommendations but the final decision about vendors is yours.

How many people can we have?

We can accommodate up to 240 guests.
